The application of overvoltage and undervoltage protectors has shown a significant growth trend. Nowadays, due to the significant increase in the total number of electrical appliances, the unchanged distribution equipment, aging distribution equipment, and increasingly extreme geographical environments, substandard products are being sold as good, counterfeit and inferior, poor quality, and rampant cable cutting. In addition, the accidental opening of electrical appliances makes voltage imbalance difficult to avoid, and various factors can cause voltage gene mutations of about 0-450V. Therefore, the burning of electrical appliances for unknown reasons and without reason is also a specific situation.
Overvoltage and undervoltage protectors can be set freely. When modifying data products, it is necessary to indicate the convenience of setting, modifying data information, and implementing posture according to the set data information; If it is stated that only the reference voltage and posture cannot be implemented, then it indicates that it is unrelated to maintenance and therefore cannot be deceived by names. It is important to fully exert the protection effect. The voltage of the power grid can be applied under normal circumstances, but this does not mean that it can fully exert its protective effect when there is a genetic mutation in the voltage of the power grid.
How to determine the effectiveness of overvoltage and undervoltage protectors:
(1) The voltage protection device itself should be able to withstand communication AC voltage above 450V, as the grid voltage is sometimes around 400V when it is disconnected and has already been measured. Before installation, the protective device must stipulate that the welder should immediately connect to the two live wires and neutral wires, and connect them for 4 hours to determine whether the protective device itself can bear it. Of course, we cannot ignore whether it can work normally under low voltage. You can use an AC voltage regulator or a 60V detection to determine;
(2) The protective device should set the power-off maintenance value based on the rated voltage of the maintained electrical appliance. The voltage requirement for single-phase power distribution in China is 220V, with a deviation not exceeding 10% of the positive and negative poles. Generally speaking, the rated voltage of electrical appliances is designed according to national regulations. Naturally, some electrical appliances have a rated voltage of 15% for positive and negative poles, and 5% for positive and negative poles. Everyone knows that electrical appliances are most effective in preventing high or low voltage. If the rated voltage, insulation strength, and compressive strength are exceeded, they will be penetrated and damaged, causing fire accidents and serious harm to asset and personal safety. With this function, the protective device itself can be used to determine;
(3) The voltage transition is caused by genetic mutations and is very fast, so the response of the protective device must be fast. The faster, the better. Try this one out. Check several times to see if the power is immediately cut off.
(4) The overvoltage and undervoltage protector should be set with a delay time timer switch based on the characteristics of the maintained electrical appliance. This is crucial because some electrical appliances cannot be plugged in immediately after power failure, such as central air conditioning and refrigerators, which usually take more than 5 minutes to plug in. The delay time timer switch is set within a clock.
Whether it is self-healing, delay time, fully automatic, zero breaking, reclosing, drive belt indication, overvoltage and undervoltage protector, or electrical equipment protection device, all are voltage protection devices that complete maintenance based on the operating voltage, also known as protection devices. As long as it is a genuine new product, used normally and appropriately, it is generally not prone to any problems.
